a well angulated dog who moves correctly will extend his limbs further 
at a faster pace because it is not necessary for him to use full 
extension at a slower gait. i find a bigger problem is that many 
handlers try to let the dog move out on too long a leash thereby losing 
control of the dog(the reason for the slight bit of tension) and not 
being able to make the turns smoothly. it would be really nice if we 
could see all of them move with no handler at all but we can't so we do 
the best we can.
