If I'm interpreting Jim's post correctly, he's missing the "driving". I've had both. "Floating" is very, very pretty. "Driving" is powerful, IMO correct, and, sadly IME sometimes overlooked in favor of "pretty". Driving is rather easy to spot. A dog will drop their head and their center of gravity will move forward as the energy expends from the rear. (A floaty-type mover can/will go without really dropping their head and getting into it.)
