[ SHOWGSD-L ] Need Opinions Please

Hi Everyone......I have a five year old bitch that has had two healthy litters.
The last time that she was bred she had to have an emergency c-section to
remove one dead puppy a week before it was supposed to be born. I think that
she had more and reabsorbed for some reason and that is what killed the
remaining puppy because there was a lot of black stuff in her uterus. The vet
also saw a cyst next to one of her ovaries. He said to breed her right away
next heat because the thing with the cyst will get worse with each heat. She
will be in heat in the next two weeks. The c-section was the second week of
April. I think that I did not mention to the vet that she comes in heat every
4-1/2 to 5 months. He did a culture on her and everything came back normal.
This is not just a vet......he also does reproductive issues. In your opinion
is it too soon after her c-section to breed her......is she healed up enough
inside. I really want a litter of puppies .....but I will not do anything to
risk her life. So I come here to ask cause you guys always have the best
answers......TIA.
