Those that were there with the Board looking at the Lexington site for their
World Trials also .....were
not happy with the area for tracking for the World Trials ( and they walked it
thoroughly ) .......nor the area
to be used for the SchH work.
Owners with dogs will be coming from all over the World to participate and it
is crucial we fulfill the demands
expected of a World Trial. A lot of money and time will be invested in
getting a lot of dogs there to compete.
Expectations will be high.
Requirements for our National site and now ALSO the World Trials in 2013 are
often different and more
demanding than for other Events and Nationals for other Breeds ..... and cannot
be compared to for ours
Not even NFL games......<G>
One of the things that always amazes me about our National is that we
absolutely MUST have them indoors
in a temperature controlled arena at a huge expense.........and yet when you
look around.......most of the
seating in the arena is empty...... as the Club takes a loss ......and the huge
OUTDOOR Seiger show is held
outdoors with massive crowds.......?
People fly from all over the world for an outdoor Seiger show and yet some of
the same people that want to
go there......won't go to a National in Utah because it isn't in a preferred
area. <G>

That statement is totally inaccurate. The Lexington Kennel Club holds 2
tracking tests a year at the Horse Park.
The previous GSD National had their tracking test at the Horse Park. The
Flat-Coat National & Springer
National had tracking at the Horse Park as well.
