Wouldn't it be nice if the GSDCA could set up a store to help fund the national
events like many other clubs do? There should be an annual national logo and
souvenirs could be sold with that to help raise funds. Of course they would
have
to work some 2 years in advance and since most decisions are made far closer to
the date, that wouldn't work. In an ideal world plans for the various national
events for the 2011 should be getting made now - like how to set up the various
venues - so there would not ever be a repeat of the previous failure. That kind
of planning would also help make it more likely that all events can efficiently
be held together.
