Speaking of second guessing, please sign your posts.  Most of us don't h=
ave a clue who Pdragon4 is, nor what the name means.  When I realize a p=
ost is unsigned, I don't give it much credibility.  Nothing personal, an=
d I don't mean to sound bitchy, but, there are a lot of GSD people I sti=
ll don't know, and would maybe like to know, not always, though, after 3=
2 years in the GSDCA.  :-)   :-)  =

the photographers who submitted bids were all given equal  consideration=
.  no matter who was chosen, there were going to be some  unhappy exhibi=
tors.  just because "your personal favorite" wasn't selected  doesn't me=
an the person selected is going to be a poor choice.  =

there is also no unwritten law that says people who don't show  german s=
hepherds can't take good pictures of german shepherds. the  committee re=
sponsible for the selection chose the person they felt would be best for=
 this assignment. it doesn't mean they felt the other photographers were=
n't good too.  there is a lot more to photographing an indoor national t=
han photographing an outdoor speciality. i don't think any of us should =
try to second guess what was decided since we didn't see the bids and do=
n't know what the requirements were. =
