At the futurity in May, I was in the buildings proposed for Obedience/Rally.
There is definitely enough room between the posts for a single ring in each
building. The posts are approximately 45' apart with the building being about
100' feet long. Since the Obedience rings are 40' x 50', that is more than
enough for one ring. There will then be LOTS of space on the other side of the
posts for the people to set up crates and chairs.
I would suggest that the club invest in some SB radios so that the rings can
communicate. It's going to make it more difficult for people with dogs in both
open and utility to know what's going on in each ring.
It will definitely be better than being outside, even under a tent, if the
weather is bad.
