Years ago we had a Prime Time daughter who hated rain. She would curl her
ears shut and run on her tiptoes. Every where we went we ran into "RAIN".
So we decided to go to California , Orange Coast maybe- Dan Dwier was
judging.
It did not rain. IT POURED. on the lunch break they had to move the ring
because a river was running through it. It continued to rain. Patches
ran around with her ears curled and on her toe nails. She did not place.
Next day the sun was shinnning and it was DRY. Patches won the American
Bred class. Dan Dwier was sitting behind us and I heard him say, "Why
didn't they show that bitch to me yesterday".
Yup, dogs and dog shows. You gotta love it.
