[ SHOWGSD-L ] National questions

Does the National show chair ever go to other breeds' Nationals to see if there
is anything that they do that would improve our National? Did anyone on the
National committee contact the Golden Retriever PC to find out how they got big
entries even though their show was in an out of the way place? We used to have
a conditional class at the National that was for dogs that had OFA's. What do
you think about having a working dog class that is open to dogs with high level
performance or schutzhund titles? We need to be inclusive. This might help to
keep the working and conformation dogs from diverging in type. There are some
sporting breeds that the conformation and working dogs have diverged in type so
much they hardly resemble the same breed.
