I have no problem with the decision to rotate the National, however when you
compile your figures, you need to include every entry from all events offered
besides what is listed in the "main' catalog. In all fairness, all entries are
considered when compiling the profit and loss statement. From what I have
heard, for the past 5 or so years, all performance entries have been at least
50% or more of the total National enties.

I think many are missing the point..
The membership voted to rotate.
So saying, wherein each region would be the best based on entries.
Then we have to factor in what are the hub cities for that region to be able to
fly into with dogs.

Kay, I think that there are other ways to compare entry totals by "region"
(east - west - central).
California is a very large state but it is the only western state in these
top fifteen states. What if we
add the numbers for Wisconsin, Illinois, Michigan, Ohio, Minnesota &
Missouri - all included in this
list & ALL in the central area of the country. I really think that to
compare entries in a region by only
naming the state & not the total for the region can be misleading.
