[ SHOWGSD-L ] National - do the math

This is what Terry calculated for us, to support all dogs one day, all
bitches the next:

So let's figure out how long it would have taken this year to do all
dogs one day, all bitches the next; and to make it easy let's just say
145 will be shown both days.
First - after each class we need photos - allowing 15 minutes per
class, 7 classes which does not include veterans or winners is 105
minutes. At some point the judge will need a break. Let's be
aggressive, only give them 30 minutes.
Ok, now our 145 dogs get 2 minutes apiece, that's 290 minutes. FOLKS,
WE ARE ALREADY AT A 7 HOUR SHOW DAY, HAVE NOT DONE WINNERS YET, AND
OUR DOGS ARE ONLY GETTING 2 MINUTES OF TIME !*!*!
Sorry- that is not a National I would want to support with an entry.=20
I'm not going to go to the expense of showing a dog at the National if
they are only getting 2 minutes to be evaluated in. No way.
