At the meeting in July, a vote was taken to go to St Louis until financial
stability was reached. It had nothing to do with Reno. When this vote was
taken, we were still going west. I believe this occurred during the
Treasurers report. I voted to do this and suggested that it be put before the
membership as I was
the last to vote and the vote had already passed.I asked that my request be
placed in the Minutes.
A vote was taken to put off signing the Reno contract and a telephone
meeting was scheduled. This may have come up during Unfinished
business.The Reno contract was discussed and we gave Reno 3 additional
days to make the changes to the contract that we requested.The Contract as
presented was NOT signable. Under Robert's Rules, a 2/3 vote of all those
voting (abstentions do not count) was required to not sign the contract. I am
not certain whether
this was in a closed session as it was on the phone.
I cannot tell you who voted for what until we get the official minutes
prior to the October meeting.
I spoke to Carmen and asked if we could a reasonable site that we accomodate
the West
He agreed and suggested putting together a committee and everyone go out and
get site
information etc and submit it to Gail and the Board.
