It that list of locations one will notice that not once has the =
National been held in the North East.
And it is not for lack of trying. I remember when the RI GSDC made a =
bid. It was professionally done. Off set printed brochures. Charts, =
grafts,slide presentation to the PC board. The Rhode Island Secetary
of Tourism also spoke on the pluses of RI. Two airports, TF Green
20 minutes from downtown, Boston's Logan 45 minutes away. RI was a =
very wealthy vibrant club in those days. It was passed over in favor =
of Buffalo. Jimmy being on the board at that time had nothing to do =
with that decision, I am sure.
