I can help answer the agility trials questions Ruth-
There are usually 2 all breed trials, and 2 GSD only trials for agility. That
I participated in the 2016 agility trials, I would be surprised if the GSD only
days weren’t self supporting! There were at least 50 dogs, more than likely
more (but no catalog to verify exact numbers) and most dogs were entered in
more than one class… standard, jumpers, and one day Time to Beat (T2B) was
offered, and the other day Fifteen & Send Time (FAST) was offered… many dogs
participated in all three, which really boosts entry numbers :)
I imagine that planning on the same- 2 all breed 2 GSD only trials would be
more than reasonable for a Nationals “out west”. I sure hope you can make it
happen (!!), even if it would be one I could not attend, but just for the sake
of our western living membership. I am thankful that some people are taking
the bull by the horns and trying to get that done. :)

Unfortunately the P&Ps don't tell me what years they are actually looking at.
Also the realistic number of hotel rooms and all of the info that needs to be
based on the current size of the entries. How many all-breed agility trials
do they want to help pay for the specialty agility trials? Ditto for herding.
That is the reason we have repeatedly contacted Gail but with no results.
Again, it is hard to get a group of volunteers to continue to want to work if
the powers that be do not cooperate.
