[ SHOWGSD-L ] National Brag

Nancy and I were very proud of our young girl, Masstana's Midnight
Celebration, (Gala) for her performance (2nd place) in the 9 to 12 bitch class
at
the National. Gala was shown to perfection by Sean Conboy who had just put
a Best Puppy on her the previous Sunday at the Northern New Jersey
specialty under Charlotte LaRosa. Gala was one of 3 litter sisters shown at
the
National in the same class. This litter was born on 12/31/08 and we choose
the names to indicate the New Years Eve celebration.
Besides Gala her sisters Masstana's Midnight Kiss and Masstana's Mariah,
The Party's On, owned by Glenn Murphy, were in there. Kizzy was handled by
Al Martin who also expertly handled her to 4 place in the 6 to 9 month
class (12 puppys shown) at the Canadian National. Mariah was handled by
Elizabeth Steiffleman (sp) who had recently put a 4 point Major on her at just
8
1/2 months. Big congratulations to Glenn and Elizabeth again. Both Kizzy
and Mariah are solid black girls.
This National was exciting, especially the Specials classes. Dave's
procedure was text book for dealing with such a nice entry. I am confident
that all the exhibitors felt they got a good look even if they did not make
the final cut. Congratulations to all the winners and placers and the
volunteers who worked so hard so that all the exhibitors and spectators could
participate at our Big Show.
