When I went through the post-exposure rabies series the first shots you were
given were given according to size and I know I got about 6 shots that first
day. After that it was a single rabies vaccine over a period of days. Kaiser
followed the WHO rules and gave me a final shot at the end of 3 months, I
believe.
But even being heavy, I did not receive a total of more than about a dozen or
so. But every time someone talks about a dog nite victim getting rabies shots
they throw in some huge number. Since the shot number is off, I bet the bite
number is also.

rabies shots????????
Since when would anyone be given 65 rabies shots?
