>>>>I am surprised there are no comments on the NIS- I have not gone over the whole <<< Ive a comment, well a couple First credit where credit is due. The head studies, particularly from the front are quite nice. Ok now the icky part....the standing and gaiting dog...hate the head, AND WHERE'S THE CROUP? It doesn't reflect most of what we see today, or yesterday. The lack of croup would have this dog moving , kicking up in the rear and driving itself into the ground up front with in all likely hood a too high tail carriage. . It is Akita-like in body style, too square, and the head on the standing and gaiting dog looks proportionally too deep from top to bottom and not long enough...awful, again, not reflecting too many GSDs I have seen here or abroad. If this is the new guide for judges then we are all in trouble. Do we really want to send the message to new GSD judges that THIS is what we want in body type, and structure???
