First you DONT just go and put an animal on Baytril....Second you spend the money and HAVE the testing done to see if you even need it. Thats like alot of breeders just put the bitch on an antibotic before they are bred for no reason. I used to do that years ago and stopped. I have been blessed with bitches that give me good size litters without the antibotics, Crissy's litters were 9 and 10 puppies and my litter before that was 13. I know a breeder that puts her bitches on baytril during their season...guess what she got very small litters....the same bitches were leased by someone else....not given baytril during the season...had large healthy litters. I guess what I'm trying to say is forget the shortcuts, spend the money for the testing before giving the antibotics.
