Susie..this is a great post...there are 2 websites that are worth a

both have different approaches..one recommends testing prior to breeding
when several dogs in a kennel have been affected the other.beleives
mycoplasma can be present and without ferility issues can be normal
flora...but BOTH support Susie's observation of immno-supression..and the
correlation of immune-suppression and mycoplsama growth and that it can be
spread via casual contact..but not ever dog contracts it and the dog has to
provide the right environment for it to flourish..so read it for yourselves
