Gisekda, I am glad you enjoy it. What always strikes me is the people who
come to me at the national and tell me they read the Blog the night before,
and loved/hated what I said.
If anyone didn't know, I do not filter or even consider what I say. Often
I am typing while talking to someone, and when I do read it maybe months
later, I don't remember seeing or saying what I wrote.
One person came up to me this year and thanked me for what I said about
her daughter. I don't remember her daughter, but was gracious and thanked
her. Those who know me, being gracious is not one of my limited talents.
But, I was told the facilities are available next year, inside. Now, if
our magnanimous board decides to avoid the weather and hold it inside, and
with the news that there is good food on the grounds if you can find it, I
may be back next year.
For Paul and Ed, magnanimous means "great".
I guess if there was food at the outside events, maybe we made some money.
I understand the GSDCA pays the bills, including flying a judge in from
Germany. Maybe we made enough on the sale of pork chops, (excluding the Jews
and Muslims), to offset that cost.
For those who remember Summer, I drove two hours to give her my car to use
to take her driving test. Yesterday was her 16th birthday. I just
thought a bright red SL550 Mercedes would intimidate the tester and let her
pass.
She passed.
Today is her birthday party. I bought her some 45 records. I didn't
realize how many happy 16th birthday records there were from the 50s.

Next year I probably won't go. There are a number of reasons, but
