Tedi being on the list behind Jimmy is like my highschool and college buddy
who played football as the back-up for Carl Eller. I think that was the
Vikings, and he was known as "bench-warmer Bob". Whenever I saw Bob
Lurtsma, I always kidded him about that. Not too much, he was probably 6'9" and
260 lbs. When we were in grade school together he was a small boy, and got
all his growth in college.
We didn't table the White Shepherd issue. We are going to revisit it with
the entire Board. I guess we didn't make that clear in what we stated.
I guess I got that wrong. I heard a lot of complaints that the board with
board members gone voted to allow the AKC to listen to them. I don't know
why I got that idea.
Some of the decisions were controversial but in the end the Board decided
they were necessary.
And, that is why I support the board. They have 20 voices and opinions are
voiced. They do make decisions we may not like, but they work hard. We
need to continue to support our board, and in a few weeks we can decide who to
put back and who new to bring on board. (Pun intended).
Vote carefully, vote wisely and vote often.
