It took me a long while to be able to put this on the list as the pain was just too great. I lost my Windy last week, aka Ch. Wind Beneath My Wings, CGC. She was one in a million to me and her loss left a huge empty space. As I hear so many times on the list how hard it is to lose your sweet companions the reality leaves you to understand that their life span compared to humans is so very short and you must eventually be prepared to let them go. However, this girl was so very special, beautiful, stunning while moving, great with people and other dogs, she simply had it all. I can still see her running for her 2nd place in 9-12 at the National in 2005. What a thrill it was. Memories! Windy succumbed to a very aggressive cancer. She will never be forgotten, I loved her so much. Lee Fossland ============================================================================ POST is Copyrighted 2012.
