What a weekend.
We took Champion Encore-Asgard's O'Connor to Reno for two shows and came
home with a Best Opposite Sex to the Roots' great Magnolia bitch ,on Saturday,
and a Best of Breed on Sunday.
Thanks to co-owner/co-breeder The Famous Linda Battistoni, Saturday's judge
Lew Bunch for the kind words about what a fun dog he is, and on Sunday judge
Jerry Graham who said if he can look that good with me showing him, he must be
a great one.
O'Connor is the most fun of any dog we have had to show since Dragonslayer.
(That was 23 years ago). He loves being in the ring, is always happy, and
all I do is stand back and stay out of his way. Credit also goes to Tedi who
prepares this dog, hands me a lead and tells me what to do. My marriage
seems to work the same way.
Not that there is anything wrong with that.
