She was so sweet, and gave us great joy. Her owner Marsha was very sick, and eventually died. We enjoyed the shepherd as much as any dog we ever had. She took about a week to know that she had a new home, new family and new friends, and fit right in. For a couple of months she had been in Marsha's back yard, hoping Marsha would come home from the hospital. Every day the neighbor came to feed her. She came to our home and took over. Any of us would have done this. The years sure have brought some interesting situations. To all of us. Not that there is anything wrong with that.
