[ SHOWGSD-L ] My First National

I just wanted everyone to know I attended my first National and had an
awesome time! Being in another breed for 28 years and switching over to the
GSD's,
was a great experience for me. I picked up some training tips, met a lot of
wonderful people, and made some new friends. The new puppy I have had a great
time with everyone she met. Now "Tora" can't wait to grow up and be a big dog!
Where else can you go to see the most wonderful dogs in the country in one
place? The Nationals!! I got asked to double a bitch that took a liking to
me,
bath and help groom a specials, and watched a friends bitch go select. I
want to thank my mentor Cheryl Olson for the birthday present of the best seats
you could have and the dinner. The shepherd people are some of the nicest I
have met in a long time. I can't wait until next year!!
