It doesn't. So are you saying that unless it specifically states in the breed
standard or AKC rules that a judge is NOT ALLOWED TO ACCEPT AN EXPLANATION OF
FAULTS AND DISQUALIFICATIONS that s/he can ignore any and all problems if s/he
so chooses. That I could have shown my three legged, neutered, WGSD with one
extracted tooth, and if a judge had so chosen could have put him up as BOB over
GV's and selects? This is degarding the breed standard into a meaningless
piece of paper with no more value to the showing of dogs than a roll of toilet
paper.
