Steve's question is an interesting one.
I understood that a monorchid can be shown in England. I may be wrong of
that, but it is something I heard years ago and may have changed. If so, I
have to assume they are being bred as well.
I would surmise that if that is true, then a monorchid may not be genetic
and may not cause monorchidism in the litter. I know the AKC does consider
it a fault in all breeds, and maybe it is time to know why that is?
I have never bred to a monorchid, and I wonder if others on the List feel
the same way? As I understand one testicle is enough to produce a litter,
and if so, why the proscription against it?
Don't get off track, however. The time is now to start bitching about the
conditions for the national. Some of us have been lax in not stepping
forward, so I will be the first.
I don't know how we can go to a state with so many wives and so few
husbands. It is unfair to other men that so many of those men in Utah take
multiple wives thereby depleting the pool of available women for single men, or
even married men looking to cheat. I say, we should only hold our nationals
in states that uphold monogamy, or monotony, whichever happens to be in
fashion in that state.
We need to stand up for the rights of one man to only have one women. In my
case, Tedi is plenty for me, and I can't imagine any more, or any less.
But, that is just me.
Not that being me is anything wrong, for me.
