Hi Everyone,
Just stepped in the door to grab some sleep, and want to give an update
on little Kaitlyn. She is much brighter today after a blood transfusion
yesterday, and a really
good fattening meal. Her Dr. has given her the go ahead to eat and drink as
much fattening, yummy
decadent food as she wants. Good thing too, because the hospital food looks
like something a cat horked up, lol.
She had a CAT scan this morning to check for blood clots , which I guess
this type of is very high risk for....(bad grammer but I am tired, lol)
No results yet.
Day by day, a bit better we think. She is on morphine and oxycontin for
pain, and is lucid despite the potent cocktail.
Hemmorhage is the greatest concern, as the surgery was so invasive and ugly
and long..so she will remain in the ICU for awhile.
Her doctor / guardian angel is all world..so too the nurses . We are
blessed.

I will respond to each of you, individually, but be patient, I am not going
to attempt it right now..
as it was I had the van on "auto pilot" and slept the whole way home
LOLOLOL...kidding.
