Subject: [ SHOWGSD-L ] Mixed results
IN what had to be one of the strangest weekends, we had a mixed bag.
On the down side, in the first of three shows, Cindy Tellefson fell and
broke her arm in two places, and broke her ankle. Then Kathy got bit by a
dog, and had to have stitches. Then Nancy McDonald fell and sprained her
back.
Then the good stuff. champion Asgard's Icon earned a Best of Breed, yet
another, and in the next show more Select points. What a campaign Pat and
Celeste are putting on.
On Sunday Grand Champion Asgard's Kirkiergaard went on to another Best of
Breed.
Lots of other winners, including a Bronze Grand Champion, and a New
Champion for the Ebbertsons.
Great judging by MaryAnn Imhoff, Bob Grady and Bobbi Kindy. When you have
three judges like that, it helped to ease the pain. But, my thoughts are
with Cindy, Kathy and Nancy tonight.
