Another corporation bites the dust. The mere thought of the bottomless pocket
of Microsoft being available to HSUS scares me.

MICROSOFT FUNDING ANTI-HUNTERS
June 10, 2007 -- AN animal-rights group gained a powerful weapon in its
fight against hunting and fishing: a lot more money.
According to the U.S. Sportsmen's Alliance (USSA), Microsoft has formed
a partnership with Humane Society of the United States (HSUS), a
notorious anti-hunting and anti-fishing group.
The software giant will make a $100,000 donation to the HSUS and is
partnering with the group on a pilot program called the "i.m.
Initiative," USSA said. Through the new program, whenever a Windows Live
Messenger user has a conversation using instant messaging, Microsoft
will give a portion of the program's advertising revenue to one of 10
organizations selected by the user. The HSUS is one of the choices, and
there is no limit to the amount of money that can be donated.
No more instant messaging of any kind for me..........!
