This is a two fold lesson: micro-chip and REGISTER the chip, but secondly
call your local animal control facility and ask if they have a scanner and do
they scan every animal they pick up. If they laugh or say no, then call your
Board of Commissioner's Office and complain. Tell all your local friends to
complain also. If we make enough noise about it they will pay attention to us.
