Ten days is typical treatment with Baytril for a plus 2 reading on mycoplasma.
For a more serious infection then it would likely be the 14 days.
Seven days is a tad short.....
I believe some are using Doxycycline now instead of Baytril....and it may be
according
to the degree of the infection or length of time..............I don't know.

Its been awhile since I've dealt with this but I remember my repro vet saying
you have to give the Baytril
for longer that 7 days when dealing with Micoplasma. Anyone else on the list
with more accurate info?
I know the typical dose for antibiotics is 7 days, but I recall him telling
me you need to do it for 14 days

...getting ready to breed one of my bitches and I have had much trouble over
the
past two or three years getting my bitches pregnant...well the stud owner
that I
plan to use requested that I get the test done...yep...the bitch is plus 2 (
what ever that means) for mycoplasma...My vet says that is not a large count
but
he put her on 136mg Baytril one and a half tablets a day for 7 days....where
does Myco come from?...how do they get it....perhaps all my bitches had
it....man I'm dumb...at least I admit it...the stud owner is one of the
smartest
folks on this list...live and ya learn...Ed
