[ SHOWGSD-L ] Michigan

I am home, in the office trying to avoid the legal stuff that piled up. I
had a great time at the show in Michigan. Sean never seems to stop
smiling. I did forget to mention some of the great friends at the show, Amy
Greenhut was one of them, but since she didn't have a turtle with her, I
forgot
to say anything.
Tammy Howard is always fun for me to talk to, and she gave me a new
thumbdrive. Now if I only knew what a thumbdrive was, I would probably be even
more excited about it.
We stopped in Grand Rapids to see Larry and Hazel Parks, (Wyndean Kennels),
who are responsible, or some say to blame, for Tedi and I being in this
sport. These are such top quality people, that it seems to overcome any
trivial problems in our lives. They have been off the List, and I think Larry
is going to try to get back on.
I can't think of anything bad about the show. What a great lunch. I haven't
had a Sloppy Joe since I left Michigan, and the day was perfect. The only
problem I had was not having a puppy to show. But, my best friend from
high school's daughter and her husband came by. They have two young girls who
had never been to a dog show, and one of them took in John Ayotte's puppy.
I thought she might get a ribbon, but she went Best of Dump. I saw such a
big smile on her face, it was worth it.
I can't find a valid reason to avoid the law stuff, so I guess I better get
back to work.
