The story is on every single news station this evening (probably will be
on later, too), including the various ESPN sport discussion shows...
and in no case is anyone defending him...they all say that if he isn't
guilty, he may as well be, because he has been convicted in the
court of public opinion.
The Philadelphia small newspaper has him on the front page with a
reference to his activities...
They were saying on ESPN that his chance of ever getting endorsements
again is over, and that Nike has to let him go now.
One fellow said "he sure isn't a role model."
Maybe we should contact our local news commentators and suggest that
after the 6 year (maximum) jail sentence, that he have to pay for the
establishment and maintenance of some spay neuter clinics, as Suzanne
suggested. On second thought, he should have to do that before
he goes to jail.......
There are a couple other NFL names also under
indictment.............AND, one program had some legal advisor or
something saying that
the Grand Jury had so many facts that, while he is still not convicted,
it would be a real shock if he were not found guilty and then sentenced
to the maximum 6 years.
I hope so.
