Fran-Jo Kennel and the intentions of some to =C3=A2=E2=82=AC=C5=93carry =
on the legacy=C3=A2=E2=82=AC=C2=9D. Whatever that might mean, I was =
concerned because Joan and I would never endorse the use of our kennel =
prefix in the naming, marketing, or promotion of any dog---not =C3=82 at =
this time or at any time in the future. While we will always be grateful =
for our friends, our beloved dogs and the success we enjoyed, our =
breeding days are over and the future lies with other =
kennels=C3=A2=E2=82=AC=E2=80=9Dnot with us. While advertising has its =
place, it seems to me that dogs and people and kennels rise and fall on =
individual merit, and that in the dog world, there has never been a =
substitute for personal vision and plain old fashioned hard work.
