Laura,
I am so sorry for your loss. We lost CH Brando a year and a half ago
to MT, and not a day goes by that we don't think of him. I believe
that torsion is familial in origin. Brando's sire was (evidently( a
carrier, as others from that line had also succumbed to torsion. If
you look on Myra's pedigree, there are undoubtedly "carriers" in her
bloodlines. No line is clear of health problems.
