Like most of you, I have had many experiences showing how my dogs remember
people & places. This is a little different. Some time ago, my dishwasher
starting giving me a hard time in that it would sometimes leak when first
started.
If it did not leak when first started, it would not leak at all. My
Melody (GSD) girl
watched me as I watched to see if it would leak, & then restart it if
necessary.
After watching a couple of times, she remember the whole process. As soon as
she heard it start she would run over to it & watch it for a couple
minutes. If it
did not leak, she would leave. However, if it started to leak, she would come
running to "tell me". I personally think that these dogs are much more
intelligent
than most people realize, with both good memory - and - the intelligence to
reason.
