[ SHOWGSD-L ] Medical question

I looked it up, talked to the vets, now asking the REALLY informed....
Has anybody had their dog go through a vertebrae lactimectomy? What was the
result? What was the recovery time? How did that compare with other type
of dislocated vertebrae surgeries?
This may be a consideration on one of my dogs and just preparing myself and
learning the questions to ask.
