Yes Evan, I suppose you may be technically accurate - and of course that
depends on the definition of "survive" is(stealing from ol WJC).
Let me put it this way, the membership is in jeopardy and thereby the club as a
whole.
Why, do you ask.
â?¢ Our membership is aging - rapidly
â?¢ People are finding other things to do with much less investment and
more lets just say "an even playing field".
â?¢ From a finance perspective to be blunt those with higher levels of
disposable income are not finding our venue very attractive to them
â?¢ We are loosing serious breeders at an alarming rate, and they are not
being replenished
â?¢ Those young folks who have an interest in the GSD are by far more
likley to head down the Working Dog route.(Schutzhund)
â?¢ If we lose that arm(WDA) for whatever reason, I'm of the opinion our
credibility as an organization responsible for the most versatile of breeds
could be greatly diminished both here and abroad.
I suppose one member could do it all, Evan - hope your up to the task. Of
course the good new, you only have to answer to your self(well maybe Tedi).
