[ SHOWGSD-L ] Masticular Muscle Myositis

Our 10 year old border collie was recently diagnosed with Masticular Muscle
Myositis. My research says that this disease most commonly affects GSD's,
labs and a few other large breeds but can be found in all breeds.
I am trying to find out as much information as I can from those that have
experienced the disease, treatment (high doses of prednisone for an extended
period of time) and the side effects. I need to determine where I go from
here. Please email me privately if you don't mind sharing your experiences.
