Ok I have to fess up <LOL>, what I have always done when a dog was in the
pasture a distance away , is fire a blank pistol and yell get out of here !!
The dogs in the area always seemed to learn to stay away . <G>
Brings to mind a funny story . One time there was a dog in the pasture and I
yelled at him , one of the horses looked up at me then quickly looked around
the pasture for the dog, saw the dog and chased him over the fence <LOL>
