Hi Cheri; The Akita I have that survived Katrina was loaded with mammary tumors when she arrived and was about 5 or 6 at the time.. All were removed except one and that was almost 4 years ago. The biopsy showed that they were not cancer and since she had undergone two very long surguries, including being spayed,was why we left the one alone. Honey is fine and had you seen her and the number of tumors, you would have expected the worst. So, take her to the Vet and have it looked at.
