Just remember when handling chloramphenicol for humans....it can absorb in your
skin and it is a know cancer producer...Never break a pill and use gloves to
handle.
It does work well (also great for dog flu) but I would be using with panalog
cream in conjunction.

We have a dog that has an infected anal gland not a fistula and hopefully
someone can give advice
She has been treated and the culture showed several
bacteria that we treated with appropriate antibiotics per culture
Still with
infected fluid when the vet expresses her and he puts antibiotic solution in the
duct
Today we started on chloramphenicol orally
Any one with advice would be
greatly appreciated
