This statement is so sad. They just said on cnn that fema is stopping
search and rescue because of the dangerous situation. - So few ruining it
for others

Sad indeed...last night at a hotel where a fox crew was staying with several
NO police, they decided to leave town because even the police didn't feel
safe. Looters had broken in to gun stores, etc. and were on the prowel.
The fox crew left with a blue pulsating light one of the security people
gave them. Not 2 blocks from the hotel a van approached with a guy hanging
out the passenger window with an assault rifle screaming "F*#@& the police"
and pulled off a round. No one was hit.
This morning an armed attacker shot at the rescue copters forcing them down.
Then, as the boat people went out to rescue more people someone shot at
them...they stopped. There are reports of looters ransacking homes and
businesses at will. The Governor has directed police to stop the rescue
effort and act like a SWAT team with the looters.
Talk about man's own inhumanity to man...this is exactly the case. People
will die because rescuers will not be able to get to them in time. What
could possibly drive such individuals? Now there are reports of guns in the
Superdome.
These are animals folks...
