Three weeks ago we lost our Ally to bloat, and now yesterday her littermate Austin also began to bloat, but upon x-rays we found a very large tumor as well. Both would have been 12 in less than a month. It is so heartbreaking to lose two so close to together. I thought I would never stop crying yesterday... I have a lump in my throat as I type this now. I've heard about littermates dying close together from other people, but 3 weeks? Is this common? The only comforting thing is that, since they've been together since birth, they'll be back together. Trying to picture them playing together, healthy and young again......
