Here we go with another day. It is over 80 already, but a great looking
park. I am sitting with Bob Gheglori, his puppy is going to be a star. I was
sitting in the tent next to us, with Liz Leshhorn, The Guz, Paul Root, Tedi,
Dave Coleman, Carol and Darlene Gheglari. I see the Kochs are here and
brought Reba, who is looking good. Jack Newton is stting up the speakers, and
Tom Brown is here with his chair.
I see Richard Sottile walking a dog and showing him to Jackie Pillipant.
Bill Tank is getting water from Tedi and they are now sitting with Bob
Funk. I see Judy Goffstein, it is good to see her out, and she never seems to
age. There doesnâ??t seem to be many people here, yet.
This is a good location as it is near a private airport, and there are lots
of classic planes, jets and prop planes going ovber all the time. I see
Sharlonna out in the field, there are about ten acres of grass, so lots of
room to work the dogs.
Ken Downing is here, he has lost some weight, and looks good at his new
svelt figure. Terri is ready to take pictures. I think I enjoy the candid
pictures best. Jack Newton is talking on the microphone, and I canâ??t
understand a word he said. It is just garbled. I prefer to think it is the
system,
not Jack.
I just spotted Bob Freeny working a dog, and I see his massive motor home.
Vivian just got here, and wearing pink, so is Bob Funk, and I brought my
pink jacket. I think it must just be that kind of day. Paul Root and I
were out double handling yesterday together, and were talking about Nitche and
Sarte. We both love those authors, and seem to be in agreement. I always
worries me when I agree with Paul.
The Greens got their obededience title on Ch Jagan-Karagin-Miterhaun
Tickleme-Elmo. A new duel title (CD) and I bet they will go for the AOE.
Congratulations to them.
Rodger is here, so Sheryll canâ??t be far behind. Cindy Tellefson came to
sit with us, and of course Peter is happy with the four point major
yesterday. Terri is here taking candid pictures. We are ready for a dog show.

It got up to 100, so you can imagine what the show was like. We are huring
for males out here, so if you have one, come on down. Ken did his usual
good job, and I got to see his daughter and son-in-law again. I talked to Ken
for just a bit, it was so hat, we wanted to get the dogs home.
I did spend some time with Paul Root and talked just a bit with Jennifer.
Bill Basu spent the night last night, so we went out for great Chinese
food. I saw Richard and Susan Koch again, and Reeba came back today. She was
always one of my favorites.
This is the end of a seven weekend series of shows. I am all showed out,
and ready for a break. We have nothing for four months now, and that works
out fine for me. The class on Saturday, some extra time in the office, and
some time to rest read another book, and watch the Lakers.
It was good to have Tom and Vivian Brown at the shows, and to see both Jenn
and Paul
Root. The whole weekend was fun, and although I would rather have won, I
still had a good tiime.
