Do any of you have different experiences as to the age when your puppies develop in that area? Jamie My favorite time to look is five weeks...but I squint when they throw those little tails up at that age and mess up the croup picture, lol. Admittedly, shoulders are always there if they are going to be there at all, rear assemblies do seem to develop and change w/ age...some dogs drop, some come up. It can be a shot in the dark w/ unfamiliar lines....I'm still looking for the "lion cub" long stride at a walk at 5 weeks:) AND I want a deep, shorter coupled "chunky" puppy, w/ depth to their stifle w/ short hocks whose knees and feet look a size to big lol. If everything "fits" at a young age, IMO they look too refined as an adult.
