Gail,
Please bring in this puppy and keep him with his litter brothers until you
sell him. Of course, he is going to feel sad and abandoned. He deserves the
same treatment, affection and training as the show puppies you are keeping.
I breed infrequently, but when I do, all my puppies are crate broken, leash
broken, know how to ride in the car and most times house broken - before they
go to their new homes. Those first few weeks and months of a puppy's life
are very important character formative periods -living in a garage run does
not
provide the exposure, socialization and dog/people relationships that they
will need in their future lives. If you only have room for two puppies in the
house - rotate them. Treat them all the same until you find the right home
for this puppy. He deserves it and you will not regret it.
