I don't eat at Mc'D's here in the States.  I definitely wouldn't eat at Mc'D's 
in France or elsewhere overseas.  I would always wonder what sort of meat is in 
those patties.

When I was 17, I wandered around the Middle East a bit and could never figure 
out the meat.  Every time meat was served, I asked exactly what *kind* of meat 
was being presented.  And, every time I asked, I got the same answer, "Turkey." 
 This was the answer I received at every restaurant --  in several countries.  
The meat never looked like turkey and never tasted like turkey.  Kind of weird, 
but at least it never made me sick.  I did wonder if the people I asked 
understood what I was asking.  <G>

To make this dog related...  My dogs *love* turkey!!!

Why would anyone eat Mc' D's in France?  Geeze, even some fresh cheese and a 
handful of olives w/ a baguette and local wine from their numerous markets 
would be a feast!  And that's without hitting the baked goods or fresh fruit!

(I had a blast... and no Mc' D's!)

PS, we saved the beer for Germany and Austria <G>.  Oh the memories...the 
sausage cart in the town square in Innsbruck that we'd hit after leaving the 
clubs...boy if that wasn't good...as cold as it was out (we were there to ski) 
the sausages were hot...steamed sausages in a crusty roll w/ some whole grain 
mustard after a few hours of partying...wow, those are some hearty folks <G>.
