There seems to be some confusion as to who pays to bring the National Show
Site Chairman in to look at a site. The local club of whereever a site might
be
has nothing to do with the expenses of bringing in the Site Chairman. This
is a National activity (since Kathleen Steen became the first National Show
Chairman I think and started doing sites without a local club) and whatever
expenses are incurred are sent to the treasurer of the GSDCA as a committee
expense. It is a big plus when the site or the Chamber of Commerce brings in
the
Site Chairman to look at a site as they cover the travel and hotel expenses -
not
the GSDCA. The local club may choose to entertain the Site Chairman if they
know she is in the area but that certainly is not mandatory in any way.
